ooc: In which Raivis is sick. Oh noes!

Even though Raivis heard Kaito calling him for breakfast, he did not want to get up.

He felt like crap.

His head hurt, his body felt like it was just run over by a bus and he felt like he was in Antarctica.

Shivering, he let out a groan and pulled the covers higher.

"Raivis, Raivis, Raiviiiiisssss!" Kaito shook the country's shoulders, already fully dressed for the new day.

"Raivis you can't sleep the whole day away! You need to get up and enjoy your day! C'mooooon! I let you sleep a whole fifteen minutes longer than normal!"

Letting out a groan, Raivis sat up and stared at his lover. Just by looking at his face you could tell he was sick.

"I-I don't feel good.."

Kaito's whiny annoyance faded the moment he looked to the blonde's expression.

"Raivis... You look really... weird." The vocaloid's voice grew soft. He reached a hand out and lightly touched the other's face. He was burning up! Kaito kept his cold hand on Raivis' face, trying to think over what to do...

Normally, when someone started to get a fever you'd take them to Dr McAfee, he'd give them a really painful injection and then the person sleeps for a day or so with a leek pu--

"R-Raivis! I want to help! Does... does the leek work without the needles?"

Closing his eyes, Raivis leaned into Kaito's cool hand, sighing.

Opening his eyes again, Raivis blinked, confused. "L-leek?"

"Y-yeah..." Kaito's expression seemed to change. The vocaloid looked away to hide as his face changed from worry to pure terror.

"A deep leek cures you when you sleep."

Raivis blinked again. Deep leek? Was that some kind of soup or something?

Shaking his head, he flopped back down, pulling the covers up.

"N-no, I probably do-don't need any. I-I normally just s-sleep this of-off."

Huh... maybe it's just something that works for vocaloids...

Kaito watched silently a few moments. "But... I want to help you get better..."

Snuggling into the blankets, Raivis spoke up.

"D-don't worry. I-I'll get over it i-in a few days."

"DAYS?!"

So long? Raivis must be dying! "But..." Kaito lifted Raivis from his soft pillow and hugged him tight.

"Oh Raivis... you're so brave..." He very quietly started to cry.

"Ah, I-I don't wanna get you sick either.." Raivis said, struggling to get away, though he stopped once he heard Kaito crying.

"Ah, d-don't cry, i-it's not bad."

Kaito continued to hold Raivis even while he struggled.

"Y-you get better in a day! To have such a long long time..." He buried his face into Raivis' shoulder. "I don't want you to die, I love you!"

Letting out a sigh, Raivis stopped. At least the vocaloid was warm.

"Ah, I-I think t-that's impossible, Kaito.." Raivis paused to listen to what his lover said and let out a laugh.

"I-I'm not gonna d-die."

Why was he laughing? This was a distressful situation! He loosed his grip on the other.

"B-but you're sick and it'll last for longer than a day! I've NEVER seen someone get sick for that long!"

Raivis patted Kaito on the head.

"W-well here i-it's longer than a day. T-there's nothing to worry ab-about, it's normal."

The gentle touch causes Kaito to calm down. He gives a little smile, lightly touching Raivis' cheek.

"If you say so..." He pressed a kiss to Raivis' forehead. "You promise you won't die?"

Raivis gave a little smile at Kaito, nodding.

"I-I promise."

The promise comforted the vocaloid. He hugged him again, this time with a gentle hold.

"Do... do I have to take you to the scary doctor for you to get better?"

Raivis shook his head.

"N-no, no. I do-don't get sick like normal h-humans. I-I just have t-to wait."

"Then... can I wait too?"

Kaito carefully laid his beloved down and curled up beside him. "Please? I'll be quiet!"

"Ah, i-if you want..I-it'll be boring though.." Raivis said, snuggling down under the covers.

Kaito slipped under the blankets as well, pressing up against Raivis' side with a large smile.

"I don't want you to be hurting alone... even if it's just a head-hurt."

Even though Raivis was burning up, he snuggled close to Kaito.

"T-thank you." He said before falling asleep.
