Raivis sighed and put his pen down, rubbing his eyes. The City was kind enough to allow papers that he need to sign to be sent to him and him to send them back. He had discovered this one day when his desk had been covered in them.

Leaning back in his chair, he stared out the window, wondering what to do today.

Just as Raivis glanced over, something appeared from the windowsil. It appeared like a human head, but it was entirely wrapped in bandages. The stranger opened the window and climbed inside, instantly ripping the mummy-like disguise off of him.

"Hiiiii Raivis! Guess what? I escaped an evil fortress!"

Raivis blinked as a head popped up in window. He stared at it for a minute, before he screamed like a 6 year old girl and leaped out of his chair, and backed up until he hit the wall.

"W-what do you w-...K-kaito!? D-don't do that! Y-you scared m-me half to death! ..A-and what 'evil fortress?" He asked, trying to calm himself down.

Kaito blinked a few times, instantly going to the smaller one's side. "Careful Raivis!" He offered a hand to help him up. "I didn't want to surprise you, so I thought I would just go though the window and make things easier."

At the last question Kaito let out a huge grin. "I just escaped from a hospital! Isn't that great?"

Raivis blinked right back and sighed, grabbing Kaito's hand and pulled himself up. "If you didn't want to surprise me, you should have gone through the door."

At hearing that his blue haired friend escaped a hospital, he looked over the other worriedly. "Y-you shouldn't have done that! What if you got hurt even more?"

"But if I went through the door, you wouldn't know that I wasn't an evil stranger. With the window you could see me right away!"

He waved off the concern with his left hand. "Don't worry Raivis, I'll be fine as long as I don't use my right shoulder alot and don't get up too fast!"

"Ah, I-I think you've got mixed up, Kaito. Normally, bad people come through the window." Raivis pointed out and bit his lip, still worried about his friend.

"I'm still going to worry, you're my friend. But if you say so..

"Really? Since when? In all the cartoons I've seen, friends climb in through the window!" Kaito sighed. "Humans are very different from the movies Masutaa used to watch online."

Kaito stopped short, quickly growing quiet. All at once, Kaito reached down and gabe Ravis the best hug he could without hurting himself. "Aw, thanks Ravis! That was really nice of you!"

"Ah, that explains. Those are cartoons. We don't actually do that in real life." Raivis said, laughing quietly.

Blinking, Raivis returned the hug, shrugging. "That's what friends are for, after all." He said, smiling up at Kaito.

"Ohhh... Those cartoons are all I really had to know about the outside world--well, those and Masutaa himself."

Kaito pulled out of the hug, leaving his hand on Raivis shoulder. "I'm lucky to have such a nice friend to look out for me!"

"Ah! That's right!" Kaito's face tinted pink and a shy grin appeared on his face. "Um... say Raivis... can I ask you a favor?"

Blinking, Raivis raised an eyebrow. "Ah, sure?

Kaito gave his cutest, most innocent puppy eyes he could muster. "Please Raivis, may I visit you for dinner? I'm all alone until Princess Emmy comes out of the hospital and all I know how to cook is spagetti!"

A half-lie was forgivable between friends, right? Of course it was...

Raivis blinked, not really effected by the look, before smiling at Kaito. "Sure, it's fine." He replied, before a look of worry appeared on his face.

"Eh? Emmy's in the hospital? Is she she okay?"

"Yay! Thank you Raivis!" Kaito cheered, accidentally lifting both his arms in the air. He winced, but kept his grin in place while he held his shoulder.

"Yeah, a building fell on her too when the ground moved." His smile saddened considerably. "She said her ribs would take a while to heal, and her leg was bandaged up... She wouldn't let me stay in the hospital with her." His smile disappeared entirely. "I hope she isn't in pain..."

"You're welcome." Raivis replied, looking worried at Kaito winced.

Blinking, Raivis' eyes widen, and winced in sympathy. "Ah, I-I'm sure she'll be fine." He said, trying to cheer his friend up. "Don't worry okay? I'm sure the doctors wont let her be in any pain and will fix her right up.

"B-but that's just it! Doctors are evil!" Kaito started to flail again, this time with only his left arm. "Whenever you get even the slightest hint of a virus they get this huuuuuge needle and go 'poke poke' into your arm or leg and then say 'oops the needle slipped!' and do it again and again and then finally he'd grin at you and asked if it hurt!"

His rant finished, Kaito gave a heavy sigh. "But... I can't take her from there if she doesn't want to leave..."

Raivis furrowed his eyebrows as he listened to Kaito's rant. "...Are you sure that was a real doctor? If a need to get a shot, most doctors just do it quickly." He said, shrugging his shoulder. "Sure it hurts a little, but it makes you get better faster."

"Hey, don't be sad." Raivis said, tugging on Kaito's jacket. "I'm sure she's fine. And what if you did take her from there and accidently hurt her? You wouldn't that, would you?"

Kaito nodded. "Doctor McAfee was the only doctor Masutaa had installed. I don't think the Masutaa would install a fake anti-virus software..." He folded his arms and looked away. "That's why I knew I had to get out of there the moment I woke up! You can't trust a doctor!"

Raivis' words struck as a direct hit to Kaito's heart. "If... If I caused her pain, I don't think I could forgive myself."

"Ah, well real life doctors aren't like that, I promise." Raivis replied with a small smile.

"It's good thing you left her there. If she was any sort of pain, no matter how small, the doctors would take care of it."

"They're still scary." Kaito mumbled under his breath.

The blue vocaloid gave another sigh and smiled back at him. "Well, you've been alive longer than I have. And I know that you're someone I can trust... so if you say she'll be okay, I'll believe you."

He paused a second longer, then turned to Raivis. "Hey Raivis, are you a human?"

Raivis chuckled. "They really are, I'll give you that."

Blinking, he tilting his head to the side and raised an eyebrow. "Mm, not really. Why do you ask?"

His smile returned, and gently pat Raivis on the head. "You always look like you're small, but actually you're much braver than me!"

Raivis raised an eyebrow and glanced up at Kaito. "Brave? Hm, not really..." He rubbed the back of his head. "Kind of wimpy, if I do say so myself."

"You're much braver than me!" He nodded happily. "You talk about doctors like they're nothing at all!"

"And you let me visit too... even though I wasn't really all that happy." His smile widened. "It takes someone brave to deal with someone who is filled with worry!"

Raivis shrugged his shoulders and blushed at the complements. "I-it was nothing really. Don't worry about.."

Kaito instantly gave him a one-armed hug and kissed the side of his head. "It's alot to me. Thanks, Raivis!"

He let him free and have his largest grin. "So what's for dinner?"

Raivis blushed even more from the kiss. "Ah, y-you're welcome."

He paused a moment to think about it. "I.. Hadn't really thought about it, lets go look and see what I have." He said, and turned to walk to the kitchen.

Kaito didn't seem to notice that his friend's face went redder. He just followed Raivis along like a duckling.

"It's okay if you only have spagetti..." He added.

"I'm sure I have something other than noodles. Don't worry." Raivis said as he dug through his kitchen, cupboards, pulling different things out.

Kaito instantly brightened, rushing behind Raivis and giving him another hug.

"I've got it! Let's have Ice cream for dinner!"
